After being notified by Hong Kong DHL, all packages destined for India (India) must be uploaded by the recipient through the website www.dhlindia-kyc.com to upload the KYC documents and customs clearance POA before handing over to DHL. After the local customs submits the above documents, the goods will be detained or directly destroyed after arriving at the Indian customs, and the formal customs clearance process cannot be entered until the recipient submits the above documents.
1. The recipient is private: the recipient needs to provide KYC documents and customs clearance power of attorney (POA);
2. The recipient is a company: the recipient needs to provide KYC documents, customs clearance power of attorney (POA) and import company import and export certificate (Import & Export Certificate);
Note: KYC=Know Your Customer, that is, government-recognized identification and address proof, such as: copy of passport or voter ID (VOTER ID) or permanent account number (Permanent Account Number) or driving license (Driving License).
3. The consignor must indicate the recipient's email address and mobile phone number on the consignment note;
Please know and tell the consignor to each other that before sending the goods, you must confirm that the recipient has the ability to clear customs and cooperate with the local area to provide relevant customs clearance information. In addition, the materials accompanying the goods must have POA and KYC. If the materials are not in conformity, the local customs will force them to return or destroy them (the sender and receiver will not be notified separately), and all expenses incurred will be paid by the sender. FYI, thanks.
